Hello

I work with Perslays 20.0

It is installed on my local Windows 11 computer

It is the first time I use this version I think, the last version I used is version 16

I began to build a coupling model, and I tried to save it, but it did not work, then the GUI is frozen ! And I waited a very long time, it keeps frozen, so I stopped processus but the html file seems to be corrupted after that …

how to fix this problem ?

I see in main command window : text cases to set PYTHONPATH and/or PYTHONHOME env variables (after I launched the Ansys engine)

what happens if one of these variables are already defined on my computer ?

Hello Flore,

We did fix a few bugs related to coupling between versions 20.0 and 20.1.
Can you try in version 20.1 and tell us if it solves your problem ?

Regards,
Antoine Aroles
Persalys developer

With version 16.1, I managed to run computation workflow I wanted ! So next week I will try with version 20.1

Problem was : I wanted to add a specific post-processing to build some other results files. So first I tried to add these instructions in “addtional panel” which is created directly with Ansys engine. But it seems it can not work in this manner.

After some trials I add a second command which call a subsidiary python script, this python script build additional results files and return some additional results in a specific file (this last file is read by persalys)

in this manner it works !

Hello Flore,

Maybe your error was related to the fact that you needed to know the location of the temp working directory ? In the post processing tab, this working directory is known under a specific variable names “workdir”.

Hello Antoine, I don’t know why, but it is not related to the temp working directory…

Hello I tried to build my workflow with version 20.1. I managed to run some evaluations. But I encountered again a problem while saving my project ! I did some intermediate saving without problem, but I had a problem with last save ! And so the project html file is now empty (0 Ko !) and I have to build again my project…
